   @KLee0723 If a game has good ideas but bad execution, another game can possibly be made off of the good ideas with BETTER execution… if a game is just all around bad, then there’s nothing to be gained from it.

   The metacritic score and majority of the critics are way too harsh on this game, but it is mediocre usually. On occassion it has its moments of brilliance but it has issues with controls, bad ai for Amy, and awkward design that really damaged the game. I really liked SOME of it but it has been a frustration to play as well, I only recommend for hardcore Survival horor gamers, others will not be forgiving enough to see it through.

   @Mecks089 good question. CGRUndertow seems to not finish about 90+% of games they review, in fact, most of their reviews have footage from the first hour of a game tops.

    every reviewer pummeled this game(but i don’t find that annoying cuz obviously there are games that suck,just like with movies,t.v.,music,etc)what i find annoying is weirdos like”shootdawoop70reviews”whatever the hell its username is,that tell nonsense(creativity my ass,that guy needs a lesson in whats truly creative & that whole thing he mentioned is over,for now anyway,so there’s no need to keep saying it.)

    @Dreamcube017 I was referring to this game in question. of course, a game can use the ideas to build a better game. However, with regards to this game, it is full of bad design and therefore deserves to be treated as such. Also, it is blatantly incorrect to compare a game from one genre to another simply because of the score it gets. Derek likes the ideas. Great. However, his points against reviewers opinions are not consistent which makes much of his argument fall apart

    I played the trial and while I think it does suffer, it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. The game DOES go back to survival horror roots and aside from the so called technical issues it’s still worth at least playing. GRAPHICS DON’T MAKE THE GAME. They only help to enhance it and I thought there weren’t many problems. Mind you I love games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, so that’s probably why I enjoyed the gameplay.
