25 CommentsClassic Game Room HD reviews MAGIC SWORD, part of the Final Fight Double Impact collection from Capcom. This is the Playstation 3 PS3 version of Magic Sword, which is also available for Xbox 360 from Xbox Live. This download video game is a 2D fantasy adventure game based on the 1990 arcade machine. One or two players can play on screen together slaying evil with a variety of additional characters that you free from captivity. Frantic gameplay and out of control action make this game one for fans of button mashing, hack and slash 2D brawlers. Magic Sword gameplay is hectic and best played with a friend. Wow, I was doubting to download this on my PS3 because I already own the CPS-1 games. But then finding out Magic Sword and Final Fight having remastered soundtracks, unlockable features, and online play – I couldn’t say no ^_^
Another awesome side-scroller similar to Magic Sword also by Capcom is Black Tiger ( also known as Black Dragon ). Man, I miss old school Capcom.

Managed to get through half of this game (25 levels) on 1 credit so far, gonna be hard to beat this on one credit but gotta try, for that high score LOL.
Thats something to note, to get far on the leaderboards with this game you have to get as many points as possible inside one credit (no continues at all).
Which is better IMO.
People cannot really cheat, on the final fight one the points carry over the next continue so people have gone out their way to get a bogus score. -
