The publisher seriously gave you this older game for free? That’s weird. O.o I guess you’re just that badass. XD

@ZeitgeistReview I think that it was meant to be a statement of complete shock.

You are really missing out that it was so dark, but that’s pretty much a calibration issue you could have resolved.

i love this game it gave me everything i ever wanted in the the only things are that the game had A LOT of glitches and the charicters moved funny, its not much to complain about ive had this game for about a year and a half and i still play this game, im also on my 1st game i started. i have beaten the main story but with the brotherhood add on i am trying to finesh all qests lvl to last find locations, and more. btw is there a way back into valt 101 after the main qest is beaten.

Terribly written and obviously biased review.

Zeitgeist, your father doesn’t give you the Pipboy, the leader of Vault 101 gives it to you as is tradition for every child turning the age of 12.
Other than that, great review and I hope to see some newer titles being reviewed by you in the future.
Oh and by the way, the 40-50 dollars the GotY edition costs is completely worth it, even if you already own the game just for the DLC alone. Not to mention that now in days there are tons of stable mods and a fan-patch to make the game more fun

I played Fallout 3 for about 2 hours straight once, it had the same feel as WoW to me, insanely tedious for something of so little entertainment value, and I played Civ 4 for a few hours a couple of times. I finally got irritated and got rid of that game though >.>

@DoubleTTB22 Lol i shouldnt need to save.. and nothing in slow motion is fun lol.. it slows down what already is a slow game even more…

this game is so fcking horrible, its slow, repetitive and very boring
-
ZeitgeistReview said on September 6th, 2010 at 2:01 pm
@Iwubchickenwubbins I thought the way it was executed was quite realistic. If realism in games is not entertaining to you then no, I can see why you would not like this.

@Yepimdatguy Indeed. Publishers have lots of copies of older titles just laying around. Just gotta ask for them.

u can beat this game in 2 hrs easy

@ZeitgeistReview
I guess they figured it was worth it. With how many subscribers you have, it’s likely that at least two of them will look into buying this game. So a good investment, I guess.

@basukua Why shouldnt you need to save the game
Saving the game is better than checkpoints because if your smart enough you would learn to save when you want instead of bitching about it then realizing you were wrong and saying that the easy way to fix your problem is dumb -
manteconcon said on September 6th, 2010 at 5:16 pm
my only wish for that game is that they make a co-op multiplayer.
-
basukua said on September 6th, 2010 at 6:05 pm
@DoubleTTB22 Becuz u shudnt need to constantly have to keep on saving the game Just in case u die.. They shud have implemented a half decent autosave feature or just made it easier to travel… but the way to fix the problem is easy.. dont play the game ever again and move on to better games

@ZeitgeistReview Meh, it is just thaot the combat system was mediocre to me and the characters never caught my interest at all. Also there were some sections w/o any audio being channeled, which was not to my liking, I can understand the radio signal lost, but just hearing someone walk for about 3 minutes seems a bit excessive.
-
DoubleTTB22 said on September 6th, 2010 at 8:15 pm
@basukua The problem with you is not you dont have 3 seconds to save its that you know you are wrong already and that if you were smart you would know when you would need to save instead of thinking the game should do it
Also you cant have a checkpoint system in this game because its free roam and you only complete objectives not do missions -
