Skylanders review. Classic Game Room reviews SKYLANDERS SPYRO’S ADVENTURE for Playstation 3 PS3, which is also available as Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure for Xbox 360, Nitnendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS. Skylanders is a video game where you place Skylanders action figure toys on the Portal of Power which works with your PS3 / Wii / Xbox 360 or 3DS to recognize which Skylander you are playing with. Switch between characters by actually, physically moving them on or off the Portal which lights up and looks pretty cool. Skylanders gameplay is similar to button mashing Lego style games where you beat up enemies, collect gold, gain experience and level up. This version of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is part of the compilation disc The Sly Collection for the PlayStation 3. Originally released for the PlayStation 2, Sly Cooper is a 3D platform game in a very modern sense. That is to say you do have more exploring to do than actual platforming, but Sly Cooper does tip the scales toward the latter — at least, more than most platformers of the time. Playing as a young raccoon who steals from criminals, a master thief in a long line of furry master thieves, you have to avenge the loss of his family heirloom, the Thievius Raccoonus.
