Skylanders is a video game where you place Skylanders action figure toys on the Portal of Power which works with your PS3 / Wii / Xbox 360 or 3DS to recognize which Skylander you are playing with. Switch between characters by actually, physically moving them on or off the Portal which lights up and looks pretty cool. Skylanders gameplay is similar to button mashing Lego style games where you beat up enemies, collect gold, gain experience and level up. The Top Shot Elite is a “light gun” style gun peripheral for video games like Cabela’s North American Adventures and Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011. It comes with a wireless sensor bar for PS3 and Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii version works with the Wiimote. From Cabela’s and Activision, the Top Shot Elite gun comes with Dangerous Hunts 2011 and works well with PS3 and Xbox 360. The Top Shot Elite and Sensor bar both use two AA batteries (all four included with Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 and Top Shot Elite bundle). Top Shot Elite used in CGR reviews of Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 and Cabela’s North American Adventures for PS3 which are both shooting gallery style arcade games and have storyline / adventure modes.

Drive cars straight outta Mad Max and Road Warrior in gladiator style duels against other rides and waves of zombies! Various arena style events like Zombie Roadkill, checkpoint races and “keep the skull” (or whatever it’s called) keep gameplay tight and ferocious albeit repetitive after a while. Controls take a bit of time to get used to but work well once mastered and the battlegrounds themselves are moderately interesting and chock full o’ zombies.
