Amy review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Amy, a downloadable game from VectorCell on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. Amy is also available for the Xbox 360 and PC. Amy is a survival horror game in which disappointment is the greatest obstacle to survive. It tells the story of Amy, an autistic girl with strange abilities. Playing as her caretaker Lana, you’re riding on a train with Amy when there’s suddenly a massive explosion. You regain consciousness to find a ravaged world where survivors are relegated to the shadows, mumbling about the end of days. The story is like a George A. Romero interpretation of Rain Man. Amy is the key to Lana’s survival, and when you’re separated, Lana experiences firsthand the horrific effects of the infection that’s destroying the world. She starts to hear voices, she is haunted by visions…and if she doesn’t get back to Amy in time, she dies. This video review features video gameplay footage of Amy for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. Choplifter HD review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Choplifter HD, a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network from inExile Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. A sequel to the 1981 Apple II original, Choplifter HD is a side scrolling game of aerial combat and rescue. Flying a helicopter into dangerous war zones, your objective is to extract the survivors and get the hell out of there. Fly to your friends, land the chopper, pick them up and fly back to your base. Your goal is to save everyone as quickly as possible, but that’s easier said than done. The enemy is trying to shoot you down, but you also have to consider your helicopter’s weight limit. That means you’ll have to make multiple trips to get everyone back. And that means you’ll have to prioritize. The game always forces you to react, so the gameplay never gets boring or stale. This video review features video gameplay footage of Choplifter HD for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. Jurassic Park: The Game: Episode 4 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Jurassic Park: The Game: Episode 4, a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network from Telltale Games for the PlayStation 3. Despite the subtitle’s insistence, this really isn’t a video game, per se. This is more an interactive movie than anything else, and if you’re a Jurassic Park fan, that’s all it needs to be. Jurassic Park: The Game tells a story that runs parallel to the events in the first film. Things pick up soon after Dennis Nedry shuts down the park. He’s on his way to the dock to earn his check, but if you’ve seen the movie, you know Nedry doesn’t quite make it. And that’s where this new story begins. If you’ve played Heavy Rain, you’ll be instantly familiar with Jurassic Park. The story plays out in what is basically a long interactive cut scene, and the tale’s progression is in your hands. This video review features video gameplay footage of Jurassic Park: The Game: Episode 3 for the PlayStation 4 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. CGRundertow SAM & MAX: SEASON 2: EPISODE 4: CHARIOTS OF THE DOGS for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review
13 CommentsSam and Max: Season 2: Episode 4: Chariots of the Dogs review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sam and Max: Season 2: Episode 4: Chariots of the Dogs, a downloadable game from Telltale Games on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. Chariots of the Dogs takes the anthropomorphic duo on an adventure that’s more Doc and Marty than Sam and Max. Having vanquished a zombie infestation in Episode 3, a new threat threatens to threaten them. Sam and Max have to travel beyond time and space, as the name of Season 2 suggests, in order to crack the case. They’ll see themselves in their youth and their senile old age before it’s over, and then somewhere along the line, they disrupt the space time continuum and put Bosco’s very existence in jeopardy. This video review features video gameplay footage of Sam and Max: Season 2: Episode 4: Chariots of the Dogs for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.
